Dr. Harold Crasilneck was a pioneer in the field of Hypnotherapy.

Dr. Crasilneck joined the staff at UT Southwestern Medical School in 1953 where his work helped legitimize Hypnosis in the medical community.  Although he did some work in the more common areas, such as weight and smoking, he also worked with patients who suffered from severe burns to bring relief with Hypnosis, as well as even using Hypnosis for childbirth.

Dr. Harold Crasilneck retired in 2007 after 54 years in private practice. He died in 2008 one year later.  He had lectured all over the world, publishing more than 100 clinical papers and one textbook.

Although no one will ever be able to step into the shoes of Dr. Crasilneck, I want to thank the Physicians, other medical personnel, and former patients who knew Dr. Crasilneck who refer their patients, friends, and family members to me.  It is a great honor.

Health / Wellness / Comfort , is one of my specialties, and is usually referred to by other people as pain management.  Reading some of his work has been especially helpful to me in this area.
