Hypnosis is NOT therapy or the practice of medicine.  It IS acting as a motivational coach to teach people the power of using their own minds to replace bad habits and ways of thinking with good, healthy ones.  It can also be used to reduce stress and sleep better which can have a positive impact in helping people to be healthier.  Hypnotists do not diagnose or treat patients.  Hypnosis is complementary to licensed health professionals and not an alternative to them.  Most of my new clients come from other satisfied clients I have worked with.   I appreciate and welcome referrals from Physicians and Mental Health Professionals!  And also from Educators, Coaches, other Hypnotists.

Many doctors and nurses regularly recommend Hypnosis to their patients.

Guided Imagery and Self Hypnosis Instruction sessions, with proper Physician referrals / approvals when required, are scheduled at Action Resources Center -- Hypnosis of Dallas / Fort Worth.  Medical Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy treatments or sessions are not.

When we determine Hypnosis is a good fit for your needs, if a Physician referral / approval form is required, I will send you one in a PDF format.  You will need to get your Physician to fill it out and email the form back to me from his / her office BEFORE we can set up your initial appointment.


The services I offer are not meant to be substitutes for psychological or professional counseling services.  If you have an ongoing mental health problem, please consult a professional licensed by your state.

Hypnosis, used in conjunction with the care of your Physician can be a powerful tool to enhance your wellness and help with recovery from disease, illness, and injuries.  It can help you have a healthier and happier life.*

Please note:  Insurance / Medicare / Medicaid RARELY, if ever pays for Hypnosis services.  If you think your insurance company may, it is your responsibility to check with them to get approval.  I do not accept insurance or other third party payments.  It will be up to you to pay for your services at the time of our sessions.  I will make available a receipt and it will be up to you to turn it in for your reimbursement.

Hypnosis is considered to be Complementary (working with your Physician or Medical Care Provider) - as opposed to Alternative Medicine (instead of).

  • Referrals are even made for Children, Teenagers, and Young Adults*
  • Your Physician may even refer you for help with Sports or Athletic Performance for individual or team sports*
  • Assistance dealing with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue*

  • Productive Procrastination -- Did you think I made a mistake when you read Productive Procrastination? A lot of people do in classes and workshops when I tell them I will teach them how to procrastinate productively. What I’m saying is procrastinating things you need to get done isn’t good. BUT, procrastinating things that are just time wasters, or things that KEEP you from doing what you need or want to do, now that’s PRODUCTIVE PROCRASTINATION!*
  • Stress Management and Relaxation -- Did you know STRESS is one of the leading causes of so many health related problems we have in life? Learn to relax and let go, physically and mentally and start improving the quality of your life.*
  • Regression -- There are several forms of Regression Hypnosis.
  • The most common that most people have heard of is called Past Life Regression. Now if you don’t believe in Past Lives, you probably don’t want to explore this. If you do – then it’s nice to see you again. Sorry, another Hypnotist joke.
  • And then there’s Regression Hypnosis to help you find Remembered Wellness, to assist the body in remembering what it’s like to feel healthy and minimize pain and discomfort *
  • Another form of Regression Hypnosis is when it’s used to help a person remember something for a specific reason – Remembering a license plate # of a car, Where you hid the bag of gold coins. Discovering why you have an unreasonable fear of something so you can put it behind you, Remembering the feeling of confidence you had when you were at the top of your field.
  • Hypnosis and Children -- Many of the things listed above can be beneficial for children as well. When I work with children, I sometimes sit in the floor with them (small children, not teenagers), and I’ll have them become their favorite Super Hero. I also want the parent to be in the room with them so they will feel safe and secure.*
  • Many Physicians refer male clients to Hypnotists for help with impotence and erectile dysfunction. These are very private matters, and some men are embarrassed to ask for help - but they shouldn't be! There may be a variety of causes for these problems -- stress being the most common, but also may be the result of diabetes, high blood pressure, other diseases, some medications, injuries, caffeine, alcohol, SMOKING, and could even be sports related. Some people think it's just a matter of getting older, but men well into their 70's, 80's, even 90's can, and should enjoy optimum sexual health. And, it can even affect young healthy men as well, even teenagers! If there is no permanent physical damage, hypnosis may be a natural, drug free alternative remedy to help get you back to enjoying this aspect of life again. And of course, some men who suffer from premature ejaculation are also referred by Physicians for this health concern as well. Ask your Physician for a referral. There's nothing to be embarrassed about! And of course your privacy and confidentiality are always respected.*
